Sustainable solutions for soil degradation

The OZG/Entrepreneurs Without Frontiers team is working with local people to find sustainable solutions to land degradation in the groundnut basin (Senegal), which is leading to a decline in agricultural income and is a factor in impoverishment.

Where the dominant economic forces are leading to the impoverishment and flattening of the soil and landscape, and where the desert is gaining ground, OZG wants to intervene and reverse the trend by investing in the conditions for entrepreneurship: a fertile soil; a fertile project.

In this way, labour and capital can be valued again and entrepreneurship becomes a good opportunity again.
